Although the selection of the right boat seems easy at the first glance, practice has proven that only the experienced and case- hardened seafarers exactly know what they want.
Please find below some advice for the less experienced seafarers and those intending to become ones:

QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK YOURSELF PRIOR TO BOAT PURCHASE:

1. Do I want a sailing boat or a motor boat?
The difference between a sailing boat and a motor boat is not only in their speed. Sailing boat requires more activity but also offers some advantages.
Advantages of sailing boats compared with motor boats:
Higher safety... uses engine drive and sails, its ballast makes it more stable.
Low fuel consumption, cheaper maintenance, lower price per meter of length, noise and pollution- free navigation.
Disadvantages of sailing boats:
Large draught, significantly slower navigation, more activity when using sails.

2. How much time can I spend on the boat?
We consider this to be the key question. If the answer is not: more than two weeks a year, forget about the purchase. Rent a boat and enjoy the carefree moments.

3. What is the purpose of the boat you intend to buy?
Are you going to use it only during the weekend or for several- week long vacations, do you plan to use it along the coast or are you also attracted by open seas, are you thinking about regattas? Or does the answer include all of the above?
Each purpose requires a different type and equipment of the boat.

4. Another important question... Where am I going to moor my newly purchased beauty?
We have met many people who thought about buying a boat but gave up on that idea because they did not have an adequate solution. In our experience, we have also encountered the dilemma of whether to buy a boat or resolve the mooring first?

5. Boat maintenance.
Maintenance of every boat engages the owner to some extent. Repairs, lifting from the sea, annual anti- vegetative coating....
Has all the above made you wonder... is it worth it? Will there be time left to enjoy the boat? ... Our answer is a definitive YES. ...
