The Victor 2 stroke powered 1 person Hovercraft that took about 7 months to build on and off, at a cost of about $200 including materials that were used for trial and error. We have yet to mount the thrust engine, prop and rudders. It uses a 12 blade 60cm centrifugal fan for lift and will have a 2 blade 60cm alluminium prop for thrust.
Here is our hovercraft finished. The seat, thrust engines and steering are fitted. It didn't have quite the forward speed we would have liked, but at least it worked. The thrust engines are the same type of Victa 2 strokes that we used for lift.
