This was made for a Motion Graphics class at Brown University. I appropriated illuminated manuscripts from around the internet to create an opening sequence for an imagined film of the Canterbury Tales.

Set to DJ Tiesto's classic Suburban Train, Romances splices together original footage from Return of the Jedi, The Matrix, and Hackers to create an appropriated visual narrative. The short film is composed of clips that are contextualized and made into their own narrative by the acconpanying music.
